Happy Birthday, Daniel!

- Teaching me how to play games on the macintosh when I was like 10 years old, maybe younger?
- When we were in Rockville that one summer, we would sing “No More ‘I Love You’s’” together, dubba dup dup dup ah ahhh.
- Taking me to see No Doubt for my first concert when I was 13.
- Chaperoning my party and being really cool about it even though there were a bunch of 8th graders running around being stupid.
- Bzzz Bzz (from the Fifth Element)
- Taking me, Sarah, and Lindsey to our first rave. (all age)
- Bringing along me and Linds to that one house party when we got to see you play your stuff. And meeting Krista that night too.
- Going shopping in Georgetown and getting my “rave outfit” (consisted of big baggy green pants and a D&B shirt)
- When you took me to see Groove in DC.
- Letting me hang out with you and Krista all day in the hospital the day Ella was born. Continue reading »

Couple of Nerds
by Emily ~ June 1st, 2009Sooo it’s been a few days since my last post. **pout** So much for my everday in May. I think I’ve been so distracted by finally getting a job and soaking in my last week of no work that I’ve been too busy to do any crafting. I can’t believe I start working tomorrow. It’s been exactly one year today since I’ve had a full time job. I’ve really enjoyed doing freelance and working from home, and playing with Charlie and Patrick all day. But I need some money! so I gotta go to work! I’m going to be a “Content Designer” for HauteLook.com. HauteLook is one of those exclusive 48–72 hours online private sales held only for the top designers and brands.
Anyway, I have been working on a drawing. It’s taken me a few days to finish…you know, because of all that laying around and having fun doing nothing…But here it is. I’m not really sure why I made them wear capes…but I did.
